We believe the government has an obligation to recognize the murderous Ft. Hood Shooting as a terrorist act. It has currently been classified as a workplace shooting thereby depriving victims of compensations and care.
Nidal Hasan took responsibility for the shooting and said he was a soldier who had decided to “switch sides” in what he believed was a U.S. war against Islam.
Changing the classification will provide additional compensation and care for victims and the families of victims in what has clearly been shown to be an act of terror.
We hereby request that the incident be reclassified as an act of terror on American soil.
