For far too long has the government given money to telecom companies with the assurance of greater Internet infrastructure that has failed to be delivered. It is time for a return on our investment that rids the country of crippling Internet service provider monopolies and encourages capitalist competition across all forms of Internet service.
It is time for ISPs to be subject to FCC oversight and regulation and to either refund the American people or make good on their promises.
There is no excuse for American Internet service to not be the best, fastest, and most reliable in the world.
