In light of recent gun violence highlighted by, but not limited to, mass shootings in San Bernardino, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; and others, and the National Rifle Association's continued efforts to block any efforts to limit access to people's tools to carry out these heinous acts of terrorism, we demand that the federal government re-classify the NRA as a terrorist organization
The definition of a domestic terrorist organization in
"involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law." The NRA's efforts to ensure that people have the tools to inflict mass murder fits this claim. Their efforts to intimidate and coerce the government and civilian population also fit the government's definition of a domestic terrorist.
