With NRA-written legislation legalizing firearms ownership by sexual offenders [1] and violent felons [2], it's been demonstrated that the organization is interested in terrifying the public. Using terror to influence government and public policy is in violation of the Patriot ACT, which defines a "terrorist support organization". We call on the Obama administration to pursue appropriate legal action to protect Americans from the NRA's actions.
