In recent weeks, the City Government of Oakland, CA has used its Police Department to carry out a series of shocking crackdowns on unarmed United States citizens in a totally unacceptable response to those citizens' free exercise of their First Amendment rights to Free Speech and Peaceable Assembly.
In conducting these crackdowns, not only has Oakland PD violated the First Amendment rights of the protesters, but has also violated the Fourth Amendment rights to Due Process by carrying out Illegal Arrests and their Eighth Amendment rights by using excessive physical force and extreme levels of military-grade hardware against them.
The Oakland PD is completely out of control and needs to be dealt with as what it is: A neo-fascist terrorist goon-squad and a deadly threat to our Freedom.
