Urbandictionary.com has long been a live feed of the evolution of language in the United States. For this reason, this site should be classified as an educational site and tool for young Americans to see how their language grows.
This change in status should allow the site to apply and qualify for educational grants. Also, contributors should be able to apply for individual research grants from the US department of education to further the understanding of pidgin, and localized slang.
