Recent gang violence has once again taken the lives of multiple innocent people in a major American City. Local law enforcement cannot meet the challenge presented by these extreme groups in terms of fire power and man power. The lack of a credible counter force enables the growth and spread of this behavior.
The presence of violent gang related activity in our neighborhoods suppresses the ability of our younger generations to succeed in an already difficult environment.
This seems to me an obvious agenda item for Homeland Security. Acts of violence by armed gangs are nothing less than domestic terrorism.
