Economy is a big issue but the survival of 7 billion people is the most important issue. We have way to much space debris and instead building a fence it needs to be recycled or exterminated. Another issue is natural gas and similar things, it does do damage to the earth and I feel there will be no action until it is to late. Corporations may lose money but its better then lives. An adjacent problem is the destruction of trees and forests around the globe. Trees are one of the main reasons we have life on this planet, if there isn't many left how can we survive. The great garbage patch is disgusting and contributing to pollution. Large companies are allowed to destroy the ingredients for life: water, air, and many others for profit. I don't want to be told that it's not doing damage.
