Our government has made national emissions laws on our automakers for a reason, to cut back on the polluting of our air by the vehicles we drive. These laws should not stop with the automakers. It should continue with the people that drive the motor vehicles. Only a handful of states have state vehicle inspections which check for emissions output, let alone check for vehicle safety and condition. Most of us drive from state to state so therefore this issue affects all of us. Every state should have a state vehicle inspection. Not only will this help to keep safe clean running vehicles on our roads but will also bring much needed money into the states.
