Numerous Congressional members, including Congressman Timothy Huelscamp, have requested that the Department of Homeland Security provide explanation for the recent purchase of huge amounts of weapons and ammunition (e.g. 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition). The DHS has refused to answer this question and this is concerning to the American public. We are asking for clear and concise explanation of this purchase and its merit given the current fiscal waste of our country's leadership. Thank you for your time.
