CLEARLY DEFINE THE WORD "ARMS" IN THE 2ND AMENDMENT BY WAY OF AN ADDITIONAL AMENDMENT.

The problem in our centuries-long debate about 2nd amendment rights is the lack of a definition of the word "arms". The original intent of the 2nd is to protect citizens from government. Today our federal govt is armed with nuclear missiles. By the context of the 2nd, it should be lawful to buy and own nukes. This is the underlying problem in interpreting our rights, and will continue to be a problem. This debate will not be solved until weapons are defined, because the Constitution does not clearly define the word "arms". Indeed, past SCOTUS Justices have been unable to decipher the word as it is stated in the 2nd, even resorting to consulting several different dictionaries as part of their rulings. We need a clear definition of the word "arms" to have meaningful debate.
