The unknown suspect Dan Cooper currently faces several federal indictments that are not subject to any statute of limitations. Although the crimes that Cooper committed were not trivial, considering the fact that nobody was harmed in the crimes along with the overwhelming public interest and length of time that has passed, it is not unreasonable to offer forgiveness in exchange for answers.
We the people ask that clemency be offered to the suspect known as Dan Cooper and any accomplices to the November 1971 hijacking, in the hope that those involved may feel safe to come forward and answer the questions surrounding one of our counties greatest mysteries.
