Clone a wooly mammoth before japan does

Created by A.P. on February 18, 2013

I want to ask the world a question. What happened to jet packs? What happened to flying cars? What happened to Time travel? America used to be a place where a kid could dream. When I was a child I dreamed of going to the moon, but with the discontinuation of our space program, who knows who the next Niel Armstrong will be. But even in times like these, Obama has kept hope alive. But now, I ask my fellow americans- Does it have to be this way? I say it doesn't. I yearn to see the day when the US is once again at the front lines of scientific advancement. Japan hopes to clone a wooly mammoth by 2016, but I know america can do it better. I propose funding a project to put our own mad scientists back to work in what would be the greatest scientific competition since the space race.
