Japan's Fukushima Nuclear power plant has exploded. It created a radioactive fallout cloud, according to scientists 20 times the amount of the Hiroshima bomb. Germany, Japan and many other countries are shutting down nuclear power plants because they are not safe during a a natural disaster, like the one at Fukushima.
American Nuclear energy produces only 10% of America's electricity. A 10% reduction in electricity use would mean American Nuclear Reactors could be shut down now.
