Since equal rights are guaranteed for male and female members of the military services, their children and dependents;
And since 35 states of these United States have ratified the Equal Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution and hold equal rights to be important for all residents of their state;
And since 15 states do not believe in establishing equal rights for the citizens of their state;
Now, Therefore be it resolved that the Commander in Chief shall close all military installations in those states that do not believe in equal rights for their citizens and do not ratify the Equal Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution.
