Close all nonessential overseas bases and bring the troops back the U.S. and base them in domestic bases instead

Close all nonessential U.S. bases abroad. Then bring the units and house them in some of the Domestic bases that have been mothballed. this will reduce the cost of supporting those troops/bases. and they will in turn be supporting our economy, instead of the economy of a country whose people probably don't even want us there. This will also strengthen our domestic defenses, by having more active units at home to defend our shores
