Every year, retail workers are forced to skip Thanksgiving with their families because their businesses are open all night. Many businesses also open at midnight on Black Friday, meaning workers have to skip Thanksgiving dinner in order to wake up for their shifts. Thanksgiving is a national holiday, and all of our citizens deserve the opportunity to celebrate it. Please close all businesses for the last 6 hours of Thanksgiving and the first six hours of Black Friday so that hourly wage workers can celebrate like everyone else.
