Close all torture loopholes and help maintain America's moral authority.

Created by J.C. on March 29, 2015

We, as social workers, are concerned about the violation of human rights done to detainees after 9/11, as well as prisoners of war and crimes. There are an abundance of torture techniques many of which have been used in interrogations facilitated by the CIA and other clandestine operations, not excluding the military. According to Senate Representative Dianne Feinstein, enhanced interrogation techniques used after the 9/11 attack to our country have been classified as ineffective. Feinstein states, the CIA misled Congress and white house officials about its interrogations of terror suspects and mismanaged a program that was far more brutal and less effective than publicly portrayed. As future social workers we are committed to seeking justice for people who are unable to.
