At a time when Americans across the board are being asked to sacrifice, it seems ludicrous to keep open a tax loophole for corporate jets.
Republicans are even freaking out over an ask for a minor reduction.
The change they are going ballistic over is minor, depreciating corporate jets over 7 years rather than 5 (basically, spreading out the write-off over more time). And yet, the Republicans can't even support that.
This would save Four Billion Dollars belonging to American Taxpayers over ten years. It's not huge, but it's symbolic of our need to change and make common sense decisions as a nation.
