My petition is for the government to make some major changes regarding incarcerated mothers keeping children with them in prison no matter what the term, I just became a father January 9th 2014 an i have to go to court to fight for custody for my son against my convicted ex girlfriend, These prison maternity wards should be a LAST resort, Only if the child has absolutely no where else to go an would end up in foster care. These inmates are there for a reason why punish the other parent for THERE mistake. I want to see my son this is completely wrong an needs reform an the public/governments attention asap!
