When we the people vote and leave the voting booth, all we know is who we voted for, but when someone is voting for your area we actually know less about our votes. The people's vote should count plain and simple. Actually counting each individual vote and then recounting the electoral college's votes is just a waste of time and money not to mention it takes the power from the people and gives it to the President who will be running in the next election. Isn't that like stacking the deck. Give the people the vote they deserve, let the people that we appoint count the votes and give thier own tallies to a group made up of one normal working person to add up the final tally and let the people know who is President. The same should be done for every other item to be voted on.
