Close down the petitions.whitehouse.gov website as it has outlived its validity as a legitimate public forum.

Outrageous petitions have become the norm and are dominating the headlines. Reasonable petitions that might otherwise receive consideration are lost in a sea of issues that cannot possibly be seriously considered by any administration (Democratic OR Republican) that has the best interest of America as its focus. By taking down the website, we take away the ability of the lunatic fringe to give legitimacy to what otherwise would be a lone voice lost in the wind. It's time to take down www.petitions.whitehouse.gov!
