Women make up 58.6% of the u.s population and can make as little as 58 cent’s to a white man's dollar. 42 million women live in poverty and by closing the gender pay gap we can bring many women out of poverty. I urge the Obama Administration to create a policy to finally close the gender pay gap and give women an equal workplace.
