When President Obama was first elected he appeared to strongly support the closure of Guantanamo Bay detention camp. After 5 years, Guantanamo Bay detention camp is still open. The hunger strike that is occurring there now (since February) is one indication that there is something seriously wrong there. Force feeding of some participating in the hunger strike is considered by many to be torture.
Holding prisoners at Guntanamo as 'enemy combatants' is bad enough - using any kind of torture is beyond the pale.
