According to the sixth Amendment of the constitution it is the right of all Americans that "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial". It is only right that we as Americans should treat those who are not Americans with the same respect.
I now ask the President that those people detained at Guantanamo Bay Prison be given the same right that is given to all Americans. I ask that every Guantanamo Bay detainee be given a fair trial where they can plead their case so their guilt or innocence can be proven in a court of law.
