Close Guantanamo Bay Prison before the end of 2013. Free us of the shame of torture committed in our name.

Created by P.H. on October 17, 2013

The US spends $1,200,000 a MINUTE on war. Imagine what the world would look like, what our reputation would be, if we committed to peace.

Guantanamo Bay Torture Center neither reflects the will, nor the principles of this nation. Every day that we, the people, continue to accept torture is a day that we can depend upon retribution visited not only upon our own military personnel but upon our citizens.

Torture, refusal of the right to due process, life-long imprisonment violate human rights. In an effort to fight terrorists, we must not continue to act as terrorists.

Most prisoners have been cleared of any changes whatsoever. Free them, cease torture, honor the Geneva Convention, and close Guantanamo Bay now.
