Close Guantanamo Bay as promised.

Created by G.N. on February 21, 2013

One of the strongest messages of the "hope and change" we voted for was the closing of Guantanamo Bay.

It is a fact that at this moment the US is holding people not only INNOCENT of any war crime, but UNACCUSED of any war crime.

This is not the America of freedom and justice.

No matter the obstacles put in the way for the administration to do what was promised to us (congress has admittedly made it difficult to bring them onto our soil or release them back to another nation), if we are to preserve the image of our country, any sense of moral credibility, and the very purpose of this site, the administration needs to be held accountable.

This may be less cool than a death star, but these innocent lives are more important.
