Guantanamo Bay no longer holds any strategic naval importance to the modern world and serves only to cause friction between the United States and Cuba. What goes on there is inherently unamerican and contrary to the conscience of civilization and is only accepted by the public because:
1) It doesn't take place on American soil
and
2) They often don't know about it.
