How can anyone believe that the US really believes in human rights when it doesn't support them on its own doorstep. It's this kind of double standard that damages American credibility - making pledges on other issues unbelievable for people from other nations around the world. Really Barack... is it worth keeping this Bush-era monstrosity to appease a few Senators?
