At this time, the Associated Press is reporting that 94 of the 166 prisoners at the Guantanamo prison are participating in a hunger strike. This strike is to protest the lack of judicial processing that every human being should be entitled to. These prisoners are INNOCENT people. They remain innocent until charges are brought against them and they are found guilty in a court of law. However, these detainees are being held indefinitely without any charges being filed against them. Some have been there for YEARS. Every person should have the right to know the charges that have resulted in their incarceration and should have access to the due process of law. Use the power of the White House to force the final closure of this prison before the innocent starve to death.
