In today’s world of technology, it has become increasingly impossible for employers and job seekers to maintain communication. Most likely the job seeker emails, calls, or leaves a message to the recruiter or HR representative and there is no response. I do know most companies have a web based career portal where you submit your resume and very few keep you informed of the status of your application. There needs to be something in place that requires some form of communication between the job seeker and employer. If a job seeker contacts one of these representatives in some form or fashion they should acknowledge it. Also require employers to acknowledge a position has been filled by either mailing or emailing a letter to the job seeker. It is very stressful on those seeking employme
