We the People, ask that The Law Enforcement Loophole concerning the Purchase and Possession of Military-Style Firearms, and Large Capacity Magazines be closed.
President Obama believes that Semi-automatic Rifles and Large Capacity magazines are "weapons that were designed for soldiers in war theaters" and "don’t belong on our streets."
Vice President Biden has told us that Civilians "don't need an assault-style weapon", don't need 30 rounds to protect yourself...and a shotgun's easier to aim than an assault-style rifle."
Since Police Officers are Civilians there is no need for them to use weapons "Designed to kill as many people as possible", or for retired Law Enforcement officers to retain possession of these weapons after leaving the force.
