There are loopholes that allow for pesticides, that are banned from use in the USA, to be produced and exported to farmers outside of the country.
Many of these farmers do not know the risks that come with using the chemicals and in return do not use proper safety measures.
Also, much of our produce comes from these same countries that we sell these poisonous chemicals to.
