There is a loophole in the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 which allows disabled Americans to be paid at far less than minimum wage.
There are cases of individuals working for cents per hour at Goodwill. Cents. $7.25 is too low for minimum wage to begin with, but to make less than a dollar an hour is criminal.
Some of these disabled people are intelligent college graduates, veterans, and household providers. All of them are hard working Americans who deserve to be treated equally.
