I was shocked and disgusted when I read of the gift shop within the 9/11 memorial museum in New York. Irregardless of whether the profits are being used to support the museum or donated to worthy causes, the placement of a gift shop selling "memorabilia" related to one of the worst days in our countries history is absolutely inappropriate. Do you see a gift shop when you visit the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.? No!
