Close the Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships created under the Bush administration.

Created by J.L. on February 16, 2012

This office was created by Executive Order in the first month of President George W. Bush's first term, January 29th, 2001. Its existance is a violation of the Establishment clause that prevents tax payer funding of religion. This Office that was not created by Congress, transfers over $2 Billion annually to religious based organizations. In previous years it has been used as a way to gain favor and political advantage in return for yielding votes during election time. Religious organizations already receive over $100 Billions tax free annually from its members, isn't that enough?
