Since 2002, the Guantánamo Bay prison camp has relentlessly tortured prisoners using methods such as:
-Sexual assault (such as rape) and humiliation
-Sensory bombardment
-Sensory deprivation
-Sleep deprivation
-Forcing prisoners to eat by sticking tubes through their noses instead of letting them commit suicide
-Solitary confinement
-Forced medication
These methods have many effects on prisoners, such as psychosis, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, hallucinations, decreased memory, impaired cognitive functioning, cardiovascular disease, anxiety and depression, delusions, and emotional damage.
Keep prisoners away from our children, but do so humanely.
