We ask that the President temporarily close the VA until they can get organized to provide our injured troops with the care that they deserve at VA Medical Centers and to clear the backlog of disability claims.
While the VA is being restructured, every former service member can go to any doctor or hospital in the United States. The VA will pay this bill at whatever the lowest negotiated insurance rate they have for the service provided at that particular hospital or doctors office. As a cost of doing business in the U.S., doctors should be asked to make appointments for our troops a priority. Citizens of the U.S. should be prepared to give up non emergency medical appointments in an effort to support our troops.
