The average American CEO make more than 350 times more than the average worker. The spending power of the money we earn today is about half of that 50 years ago. I petition we raise the minimum wage and close the pay gap of CEOs and average workers to around 150 time that of the average worker ( the same as Sweden) this will help the middle class build a stronger economy and and produce more tax revenue for the United states. Closing the gap will increase the monies availed to pay the average workers and in return help increase productivity. With more money to spend Americans can help build the economy, by buying new cars and homes. The backbone of America is the middle class, sign this petition and do your research. This is the first step of wealth equality in America!
