We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Co-presidency when winner of electoral college and popular vote are not the same.

Created by H.M. on November 12, 2016

People have taken to the streets to protest the election of Donald Trump as the next president. Had Hillary Clinton won the election Trump supporters would have done the same. We are a divided nation. When the electoral vote goes to one candidate and the popular vote to the other there is no mandate for the issues they campaigned on. The most fair solution would be to have co-presidents and no vice presidents. All executive decisions must be agreed to by both and arrived at through negotiations and compromise.
