We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

CODE LOOKOUT: Education, Search and Return Act for America's Children

Created by J.S. on September 19, 2016

There is currently no social media alert for possible missing children or runaways in the US. If a child does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert they go unreported to the media . Social media is a powerful tool.
This act would enact a law requiring education, search and return in every community across America on children up to age 18.

Educate: Local Law Enforcement and School Systems will be required at the first of every school year to educate about predators and offer resources.

Search and Return: Law agencies would be required after receiving a missing child report to immediately:
1. Gather information, begin a search to resolve. If child is not found:
2. Issue a "CODE LOOK OUT" for the possible missing/runaway child to their state or escalate the report to an Amber Alert.
