Since the 2012 football season, the Iowa Hawkeyes have featured an offense that struggles to barely be in the top 110 nationally. In a year with 8 returning starters on offense including a 2nd year QB and a possible 1st overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the offense has done little more than average 2-3 yds per rush and continues to throw the ball 2 or 3 yards downfield on 3rd and long situations. OC Greg Davis is the man responsible. Kirk Ferentz was previously able to win an Orange Bowl with an OC who could best be described as "mediocre to average". During this time period, Davis turned the Texas football program into a shell of what it used to be while causing legendary coach Mack Brown to lose his job. Fire Davis and prevent this from happening to the University of Iowa.
