College Tuition: Prevent Debt of Young Students for the Sake of Their Future

Created by L.R. on January 08, 2015

College tuition should be a right and not a privilege to only those who can afford it.
According to U.S. Department of Education and the National Center for Education Statistics (2012) you could be paying anywhere between $8,085 and $32,617 per year for college education.
Seven in 10 seniors (69%) who graduated from public and nonprofit colleges in 2013 had student loan debt, with an average of $28,400 per borrower.
We propose the making of a Federal law that requires all colleges to lower tuition costs to $10,000 and under per year. This is for the sake of students, families, and the national debt.
