Since the recent drop of funding for NASA has been approved by Congress, and the space shuttles were retired, we feel that this was not necessary. We need to keep NASA going and build better and faster space ships that can eventually break the light barrier. We request Congress continue funding NASA to maintain our space superiority and to do research to see if there is life outside of our solar system. Since Congress passed legislation for the creation of NASA on July 29, 1958, many astronauts have been to space and some have made it to the moon. We hope that Congress realizes their mistake of taking the funds away from NASA and fixes this error. The more we explore space, the more we will know about ourselves and other species currently unknown to us.
