Come up with better ways to help the government, in Alabama, pay their bills without penalizing the people.

Created by S.T. on July 13, 2015

Alabama already has a 4% sales tax on our soda without us knowing. Other states have a 4 % sales tax up to a 7% sales tax, in Mississippi. Alabama's state policymakers are proposing an extra 5¢ on EVERY 12oz of Soda. That's almost a 20% sales tax!!! Imagine having to pay an extra 25¢ on EVERY 2 liter of Soda and an extra 60¢ on EVERY 12 pack purchased! Once it passes in Alabama it will move on to other states and other things like groceries. The average American low cost family of 4 already spends $787 a month on groceries and the Average liberal cost family of 4 spends $1,195 a month on groceries. We can't afford any more. Our government needs to find new ways to pay our country's bills. If this goes into effect tons of people will lose their jobs. Thus declining sales of everything more.
