The government should allow a nationwide conceal/open carry permit for honest citizens that complete advanced firearms training courses and pass both mental and criminal background checks. More armed citizens will deter criminals from committing crimes on a mass scale. "The lions always attack the weak." Do away with gun free zones in most public places. The theater attack in Colorado was probably chosen, because it was the only gun free theater in the area.
