Cannabis, also known as 'marijuana', is a relatively benign substance. Many would agree that while marijuana is harmless, it has no reason being in the hands of our children. To keep our children and communities safe, we need to get marijuana out of the black market. By having marijuana available strictly to adults 21 and over, enforcing the regulations, punishments for selling to minors, as well as getting more education on drugs and alcohol, can help ensure that our children will remain safe. Marijuana use has not stopped nor slowed down since the the 'war on drugs' began - and 50% of Americans support the legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes, at least. Isn't it about time we stop wasting our tax dollars chasing non violent offenders?
