Command the Justice Department to investigate local Republican organizations for voter suppression and fraud in 2012

Created by R.S. on March 04, 2013

It was widely recognized by cable news, newspapers, and comedy shows like the Daily Show and Colbert Report that the Republican Party and its allies engaged in both voter suppression and voter fraud during the 2012 General Election. While Federal Courts overruled certain voter suppression laws, no criminal charges have been brought against the Republican Party, or at least local chapters.

It undermines the foundations of our democratic republic when politicians can discourage political minorities such as African Americans and the poor from participating in elections. Prosecuting the Republican Party and/or its local chapters does not constitute a partisan abuse of power, but rather a correction of partisan abuses of power that already occurred. Please investigate immediately.
