On March 9th, 2015, forty-seven United States Senators prevented an unauthorized citizen from negotiating with a foreign government (Iran) without the consent of Congress, which is a clear violation of The US Constitution and The Logan Act. They not only prevented future action to reverse the unauthorized negotiation, but prevented this individual from committing a felony.
