Senator Joe Manchin is proposing commonsense firearm regulation to help prevent potential terrorists like the Orlando shooter from purchasing guns. The shooter was on the Terrorist Watch List, but despite that was legally able to purchase his guns within the last six months.
Manchin is facing a well-funded and organized NRA-backed campaign to punish him for his actions.
We call on Congress to commend Senator Manchin for the clear majority of Americans who favor stricter gun control legislation.
